This year's RMPAP event will be held in beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado, and will bring together 50 artists from around the country to create original plein-air paintings on-location during the week. In addition to the show, there will be a "quick-draw" in town at 10 AM on Saturday, July 17, during which the public can mingle with event artists as they create paintings, start-to-finish, in 2 hours. Works painted during the quick draw will be up for silent auction immediately afterward.

I am pleased and honored to be the recipient of the Outdoor Painters Society Award of Merit at the 2009 Plein-Air Southwest show. Thank you to the OPS for the honor.

Owing to the fact that my Archives page was getting rather large, I've elected to divide it into two sections. The first, reached from the "ARCHIVE" link on the menu, will display recent works no more than about 18 months old. The second section, which can be reached from the first, will be where you can find works older than 18 months.
