Owing to the fact that my Archives page was getting rather large, I've elected to divide it into two sections. The first, reached from the "ARCHIVE" link on the menu, will display recent works no more than about 18 months old. The second section, which can be reached from the first, will be where you can find works older than 18 months. |
| Southwest Art Magazine "25 Ways To Have An Artful New Year" Artist |
Southwest Art Magazine's January 2009 issue features an article highlighting 25 suggestions for ways to bring more art into your life in 2009. Among them is a visit to the DEMONSTRATIONS section of my site, which is free, and gives a step-by-step glimpse into my process, from start to finish, on each of four plein-air paintings. | Winner of 2 Awards 2008 Nomadas Del Arte Show |
I am very honored to be the recipient of the Best In Show - Artist's Choice Award and an Honorable Mention at the inaugural Nomadas Del Arte Show, held this past March in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The show featured work from 200 plein-air artists from around the country. The painting "Solstice" received the Honorable Mention, while "Afternoon Delight" garnered the Artists' Choice Award. Thanks to the judges and my fellow plein-air painters for these honors! |
